Short Par 4: Golf Style at Your Doorstep

Subscription style services exploded a few years ago with entrants like Trunk Club and Le Tote making the process of shopping for clothing a little less painful by bringing apparel straight to your doorstep.

Now, such services are being extended to the world of golf.  We chatted with Bobby DiMeo of Short Par 4 to see how their company is bringing style to the golfing masses.

When Short Par 4’s founders looked at the changing landscape of the golf apparel industry, they saw an opportunity. A chance to unite golfers from across the country with the latest clothes from up-and-coming companies and to provide the best offerings from tried and true brands — all at a discounted price.

So how does Short Par 4 accomplish its lofty goal?

When you sign up for a Short Par 4 subscription you start by picking from one of four style profiles. Options range from “Athletic” (think Dustin Johnson) to “Wild” à la Rickie Fowler. Although there are a few style personas, each box is personalized, even those on the same style track still get different items every month. Pieces are also adjusted based on the client’s location and seasonal change.

For $45 per month, Short Par 4 sends you a box of hand-selected pieces with a minimum retail value of $100. Unlike other subscription style services in which you pay only for the items you keep, with Short Par 4 all contents of the box are yours.

Your $45 per month will also get you pieces that work off the golf course too. The chosen apparel is used to help educate clients on the wide variety of new lifestyle-oriented brands hitting the golf market. So, along with Under Armour, Puma, and Adidas you might also find the likes of Devereux and Travis Matthew in your shipment.

Looking into the future, DiMeo tells us that Short Par 4 plans to expand into women’s apparel. They also hope to continue to build Short Par 4 as a brand in its own right and will be coming out with their own custom accessory line.

Head on over to Short Par 4 to start receiving your own box of golf fashion goods each month, and use code ‘ClubUpSP4’ to get $20 off your first box. At just $25 for your first month with the code, it’s a no-brainer to give Short Par 4 a try.

Know someone who could use a little style help? Short Par 4 members who refer a friend will receive 50% off their next box and their buddy gets $20 off their first month too!
