Tiger Woods Practicing

Tiger Woods was allegedly spied practicing in the early morning hours at the Bear’s Club

In some breaking news, Tiger Woods was seen practicing in the early morning hours at The Bear’s Club near his home in Jupiter, Florida.

The photo was passed on to us by the Secret Tour Pro, and STP told us that Tiger Woods was in and out before sunrise Tuesday, the day before his 40th birthday. According to STP, Tiger was working only with short irons and making half swings.

The significance of Tiger on a practice range this soon cannot be understated. After a very un-Tiger-like interview with Time in which he stated that his return date was unknown, the world was resigned to discussing his possible retirement rather than his comeback.

With the aftermath of the Time article and the conjecture on his future post 40, Tiger has been reiterating that he’s not sure when he’ll make a comeback, but he is not a patient person by nature. If this is legitimate, this would reaffirm that. Tiger has not commented on when he’ll make his competitive return.

Is this really Tiger?

UPDATE:

A Geoff Shackelford reader has undeniably debunked this photo. The questions of whether  or not this is Tiger Woods have been answered. It is. However . . . it’s from the 2014 Honda Classic as astutely pointed out by Ari Marcus.

So much for speculation, but the power of social media is undeniable.
