Bettinardi BB8 HWY20: Road to Augusta

Bettinardi makes some of the best limited run putters in the industry, and their latest BB8 HWY20 is no difference.

The Bettinardi BB8 HWY20 Limited Run Putter Gives Shout Out to Road to Augusta

You should make it a habit to check out Bettinardi’s Limited Run selection from time to time, especially during major tournament season, to see if they have any special editions putters out. They make some of the best one-offs in the putter industry, and their limited runs are no exception. They’re back at it again with a Masters-themed putter, the BB8 HWY20.

The Bettinardi BB8 HWY20 pays homage to the Masters by way of referencing I-20, the interstate highway that runs through Georgia. The accompanying headcover reads “Road to Augusta” because, you guessed it, I-20 ends in Augusta at the South Carolina state line.

OUR REVIEW OF THE BETTINARDI BB8

From Bettinardi:

Bettinardi Golf is commemorating the 2016 Highway 20 Spring Invitational with this classic BB8 style putter. This traditional heel-toe weighted blade is extremely limited in quantity with only 150 pieces made worldwide. The head is milled from our finest Double-Aged Stainless Steel (DASS), and has a glossy tour blast finish that gives this putter the classic and stylish Bettinardi appearance. The face of this putter is where the true beauty lies with Nano-engraved HWY 20 sign markers, symbolizing the main Road to Augusta. No detail is left out as the neck of this putter features an iconic flag engraved, in addition to the year of the invitational golf tournament on the left bumper.

– Material: DASS (Double-Aged Stainless Steel)
– Face Milling: Nano-Engraved HWY 20 Signs
– Weight: 353g
– Finish: Tour Blast
– Lie: 71°
– Loft: 3°
– Toe Hang: 3/4

The Bettinardi BB8 HWY20 is available now at select Bettinardi dealers, but if you don’t want to drop the coin for a new putter, the headcover can be bought separately for $65

Good thing Bettinardi used the iconic highway as theme material for the Masters putter . . . a pimento-cheese sandwich themed putter would be weird.
