Bryson DeChambeau has joined Bridgestone as a ball ambassador — very safe and soon to be confirmed rumors have him going to Cobra for his irons — and he will be playing the Tour B330-S.
It will come as no surprise that Dr. DeChambeau has been introduced by Bridgestone as a scientist, something that might make an actual scientist with more than a 4-year degree throw beakers and pocket protectors in agitation.
But I digress.
The page on Bridgestonegolf.com titled Meet Bryson focuses on the science of the B330-S and the tests Bryson DeChambeau used to evaluate the quality of the ball. One of those tests was a grade school buoyancy and CG test with Epsom salt in a bowl of water. I wonder if Kuchar and Snedeker take their balls with them into an Epsom bath after a round . . . to establish CG, ya know?
I suppose I didn’t digress.
The 2016 Bridgestone B330 balls have been met with rave reviews, and it’s a big deal that the latest young gun chose them over the No.1 ball played at every event, you know who.
