Is Tiger coming back?! He booked a hotel! Mayb… maybe he’s going to play golf because he booked a hotel!

Anymore that’s the kind of conclusion we are almost obligated to jump to because Tiger Woods continues to tell everyone that not even he knows when he’s going to come back. The flames of rumor were but a glowing ember when it was found that Woods had registered for the U.S. Open, and, to be fair, Tiger’s travel plans to Ohio during the week of Jack Nicklaus’ tournament fans those flames.

From a Reuters report, sources also say that Tiger is believed to have made similar travel and accommodation plans for the Players Championship May 12-15, but after the rigid swings he was taking at the formal opening of Bluejack National this past week, returning to play in Ponte Vedra is unlikely.

Unsurprisingly, Tiger Woods’ agent, Mark Steinberg, did not respond to request for confirmation on these rumors . . . As an aside, Steinberg has the greatest job in the world. Don’t provide information, deny rumors, say you don’t know where information came from . . . I could do that.

When asked at his annual Tiger Jam when he would make his triumphant return, Tiger Woods responded by saying, “Dude, if I knew, I would tell you. I’m sick of being on the sidelines . . . I want to compete against these boys. I miss it.”

Information on where Tiger booked his stay was not given. Maybe it’s a Holiday Inn Express.
